Small-batch, handmade, and always a little different ✳

Handmade fashion & design · Bellingham, Washington

Wearable pieces,
made from materials
with a past.

I make clothing, jewelry and everyday accessories from upcycled finds and natural fibers. Each piece starts with a material that catches my eye—and becomes something with its own texture, color and character.

Thoughtfully made, never quite the same.

Good design can begin
with what’s already here.

Secondhand fabrics, natural fibers, brass and the odd little treasure from a thrift-store shelf all have possibilities. I like finding them, figuring out what they might become, and making something you can wear, carry and make your own.

02 / MADE WITH MATERIALS IN MIND

Look twice.
Make something new.

Sometimes it starts with a thrifted shirt. Sometimes it’s a beautiful yarn, a handful of beads, or a piece of brass I can’t leave behind. I like the puzzle of working with what’s available and letting the material help decide what comes next.

03 / A NOTE FROM KALCIA

Making things is how I figure things out.

I’m Kalcia, a maker in Bellingham. I love materials with a little history, colors I keep thinking about, and the moment a new technique starts to work. This small collection is a record of what I’m learning and making along the way.

Thanks for being here, and for caring about the hands and materials behind what you wear.
